Super-cycling powers

In my spare time and weather conditions permitting, I usually cycle with my father and my cousin, around Guadalajara, the city where I live. Step by step we are cycling faster and longer; for example, today we made a tour of 50 kilometres in less than 3 hours. These are quite modest results, I am completely sure, but for us, it is quite a challenge. Today, cycling downhill at maximum speed, I have reached 48 km/h, which is just the average speed a professional cycler gets in a CTM or the average speed in a flat stage in Tour de France.

I just want to highlight with this the amazing performance of a professional cycler, who in three weeks without pause makes much more than I can do. I have also driven through some of the "cols" of the Tour de France, such as Tourmalet or Grand Ballon d'Alsace and all I can say about that is that it was hard to get on top with the car! I think I could not cycle like one of them even if I lived one million years and I trained everyday. I truly admire all of them, because what they achieve if much beyond my skills.
