The last weekend I was in Paris, discovering one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. In this entry, I expect to make a brief summary of everything I discovered there.
My first days were devoted to work and therefore there is no much to highlight. Maybe the five vans of police in the same corner of Chatêlet-LesHalles (instead of being one in each corner and the fifth in the centre, for example) or the shop with stuffed rats in its window. That were nice days, with much work but also with belly loughs with my friend Saskia.
Then, the weekend came and I could discover the city. I could admire the Arch of the Triumph, I could never imagine it was so huge and it contained so many battles in Spain. Montmatre was also charmful, especially the harpe concert we listened in the stairs towards Sacre Coeur. It was quite a delightful time. I must admit I was a bit disappointed by Champs Elyseés, because in the TV, in Tour de France, they are so beautiful and noble. My opinion about the Eiffel Tower is strange, because despite its 300 metres, it cannot be seen from most of the most touristic places in Paris. In any case, going through Camps de Mars is amazing, since one feels is quite close to it but it takes almost half an hour to get to the tower, and then, one realizes how huge and amazing it is. Place des Vosges is also quite a wonderful place in Paris, with its silence and its children.
I do not know, maybe I cannot explain much about the places I discovered during the weekend, because my most precious was holding my hand and playing with my fingers all the time, and she was drawing all my attention.
