First day in Munich

Well, here I am, it seems I have survived to my first day in Munich. It was not as easy as it may look like, since my first hours here have been full of problems.

First a sentence by my seat companion which must be longly remembered: is pasta a cereal? Wow, what a sentence. The worst about it is that it was posed by a girl aged, at least, 20.

Yesterday in the airport, my luggage was the last one in coming through these docks. And it did it on the wrong dock. I was feeling so frustrated while I could not get my luggage, that what I experienced when I saw my yellow suitcase in another door can only be defined as happiness.

Then, in the way to the city in a taxi, a car accident happened five cars ahead of us and we had to wait for an hour there. I must highlight that everybody (but my Turskish driver) understood the situation and parked the car outside the road in a way such that ambulances could drive without problems. Besides, nobody decided to solve the problem using the car horn (so different from the Spanish behaviour).

Today I am still a bit lost in Munich. It seems we are going to be 11 in the class, maybe too much people. I have had lunch in the canteen of the Ministry of Justice and, after that, I have wandered a little bit through the city center. That was nice, maybe a bit hot. Now, I must come back to logistic problems such as the Underground card or doing the shopping for breakfast.

About my class companions, we have two more Spaniards, a boy from Barcelona and a girl from Madrid, three Italian girls (achtung baby), a man from Holland, two Japaner, a British-Belgian girl and a girl from somewhere in Greece. That´s not so bad after all.
